Mission: To preserve and enhance the artistic legacy of the historic Chiurazzi Foundry, and to engage a diverse and expanding audience with Chiurazzi’s authorized bronze casts of masterpieces of ancient and Renaissance sculpture.

Vision: To be recognized internationally as the source of the world’s largest and finest collection of authorized bronze casts of ancient and Renaissance sculpture; to preserve Chiurazzi’s priceless historic collection of more than 1,500 sculptural moulds; to ensure the continuation of Chiurazzi’s centuries long artisanal tradition and train a new generation of master craftsperson’s; and to provide an international public with a wide range of educational opportunities.

Chiurazzi International’s operational plan combines five distinct but related businesses: the bronze foundry, gallery, art purveyor, technical academy school, restaurant and a gift shop. The primary focus of the Company remains the bronze foundry, while related entities are ancillary revenue opportunities that will only succeed as a result of properly positioning the foundry’s brand and continuing to produce high quality, scholarly recognized work. During the first 24 months of startup, the Company’s focus will be on producing bronzes, creating the gallery, and preparing for a traveling exhibition.

Education

While there are many schools in the United States and internationally that offer Master of Fine Arts degrees in sculpture, the majority of them are based at university or college campuses with curricula offering minimal hands-on experience of sculpture. An even smaller percentage of universities offer practical experience in the process of bronze sculpture creation in a historical foundry setting. Chiurazzi International has worked directly with the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples to create a Master of Fine Arts Degree program where students will be able to work directly with Chiurazzi Foundry artisans as part of the curriculum. The artisans from the Chiurazzi Foundry are professionally trained instructors with the ability to provide technical training along with the knowledge derived from a third- or fourth generation artisan at the Foundry. The uniqueness of the program and its hands-on experiences for students bodes well for successful enrollment in the program and the additional assurance that artisan knowledge will continue through future generations.
